6 Steps To Having A Peaceful Of Mind

1 - Think Happily

Remembering good times will reduce stress and increase your pain threshold. Positive visual images stimulate the brain.

2 - Believe In Yourself

Look back over all your past successes especially times when you have faced and overcome similar obstacles to the ones you face now.

3 - Make Time For You

Set aside 15 to 20 minutes every day to either meditate or simply relax. It is a vital communication towards the brain that you are in control.

4 - Plan Always

Stresses come from within, not from the outside world. Work out what is stressing you, write it down, prioritize and come up with an action plan.

5 - Repeat Words

Repeat  simple and easy to remember sentences in your thoughts when going to bed. This slows down the brain keeping your attention off from any anxiety and setting forth for sleep.

6 - Meditate Quickly

Concentrate on one object for five minutes. You can do this quick and will decrease stress both in the short and long term.

Improving The Time Management Skills

I came across this presentation which is very useful for people who are looking for ideas about improving their own personal time management. Particularly, the tips in this presentation would be useful for students. As we know, students have lots of work to do, and without proper management of time on a daily basis, productivity could plummet.

What presented by Dr. Victor here are clear tips and formula for managing one's time. Proper time management equates to more productivity, while poor time management equates to stress.

Let us face it. Many people are accustomed to last minute chores. Students do their assignment just before the period of that subject. Or, the most common one is, paying bills on the day it is due.

These are just among the characteristics of a or poor time management. When one forgets the last minute chore, stress and eventually lots of issues will come up. Then, one realized she/he was not doing it right. However, the next time, he/she does the same thing.

It is essential to note that, managing time is a part of a daily lifestyle. Wherever we are, time is with us. We cannot control it, but we can manage to do things in order, avoiding stress and troubles that will result of lack of time management.
